Hi, my name is Casey G. I live in Cambridge, MA, where I have connected with my dreams, working in Children's publishing.
I graduated from RIT in 2004 with degrees in Illustration and Graphic Design. My true passion is illustrating, but I love being creative in all media (gardening included).
In September 2006 I started my full-time job at Houghton Mifflin in their Trade and Reference Department. I am working in marketing, mainly for their imprint Kingfisher, but I still have some contact with their Curious George.
Currently, on the personal home front, I am working on a children's animal alphabet book. I have five letters left to complete and a few alternate animals that I want to see in already finished letters. You can view the finished letters under illustration on this site.
Staying busy keeps up my energy. I love trying something new and always have many projects going on at once, such as creating illustrations for a friend, reading up on the latest books, or making Christmas ornaments as gifts.
